Rev9.com is Now Open for Business!
It's official. We can now begin taking orders for Rev9.com websites.
You may be asking yourself "What the heck is a Rev9.com website?" To put it simply, a Rev9.com website is two sites in one. One site (the private site) is used for editing the content in your website. When you get the content just the way you want, you click a button, and the site is 'Rendered' or copied to your public web server. That way, you can edit your content all you want, in your web browser* and your customers won't see anything different until you make your changes available to the public.
How is this done? We use some pretty cool technology to add a special button to your web pages on our rev9.com server. The buttons look like this: All you do is click the button, edit your content and save the changes. Then, when you are ready, you click another button that renders the new content to your public webserver. You must be thinking "That button is way too ugly to put on my website". We agree. The truth is, your customers never see the button. Only you (or whoever you want to be your website editor) will ever see the button. You see the button, your customers don't.
It really is as simple as it sounds. Click, Edit, Save. And then, when you are ready, click "Render This Page" when you want to make your changes public.
Sound good? Give us a call. We would love to demo our new Rev9.com technology for you. If you like what you see, we can talk about creating a new Rev9.com site for you or we can convert your existing website to a Rev9.com website.
* Really? Yes, you really do edit your web site content in your web browser. Internet Explorer, Netscape, iCab, Opera, OmniWeb, (or whatever browser you happen to use)-- they all work with Rev9.com.
