If you want to see what is possible with CSS in the hands of a good graphic designer, you must check out CSS Zen Garden.
CSS Zen Garden is a CSS technology demo where graphic artists submit some of their best work to be added to the Garden. A review board selects the best examples of good CSS combined with top-notch graphic design for inclusion in CSS Zen Garden.
A simple click is all that is required to flip between different CSS style sheets, and the changes can be dramatic. Look for links to the various sample styles in the right hand navigation column. Keep in mind that the only thing that changes is the CSS style sheet. The content on the page remains the same for each style.
If you are stuck in table-land, you won't want to visit CSS Zen Garden. But if you are willing to learn CSS and want to see what is possible, CSS Zen Garden is a must and will get your creativity flowing.
