sIFR 2.0 Released: "It's released! A long effort of several months is finally complete. sIFR 2.0 is here. This release is the realization of everything [the sIFR team] always strived for in sIFR: rich, accessible typography for the masses with no pitfalls under any reasonable browsing conditions..." sIFR solves the long-standing issue of trying to create browser text that looks good with out using .gif or .jpg images in place of true text. Not only is it time consuming to create and maintain graphical text, graphical text also creates accessibility issues for the disabled. If you are a web developer, you owe it to yourself to check out sIFR. (Via Mike Davidson.)
